I bought my first property in France back in 2014. Since then, I’ve been fully immersed in the world of real estate — buying, renovating, renting out, and eventually selling dozens of properties over the years.
Along the way, I’ve learned what really works, what to watch out for, and how to navigate a system that can often feel… overwhelming — even for French people. That’s why, in 2017, I began helping others do the same. Since then, I’ve guided over 1,000 people through their own real estate journey in France.
The idea for French Property Explained came during a chat with an English buyer. He wanted to purchase a home here, but was completely lost. He told me, “I just wish there was someone neutral, who really understands the system, and can explain it to me in simple terms.”
That’s when it clicked. I realized that what I’ve been doing for years — sharing my experience, breaking things down, and helping people make smart decisions — could make a real difference for international buyers.
This project is here to do just that.
